Meet the Owner

Welcome to November Rae Co.! My name is Shatoya Yarbrough, and I'm proud to share my journey with you. I was born and raised in Bowling Green, KY and graduated with a degree in Sociology from the University of Louisville. Since I have no kids, I dedicate my creativity and time to crafting unique products and growing my businesses.

How I got Started

It all started with a simple admiration for a lady's candles I found in a pharmacy in Bowling Green, KY. While attending college in Louisville, I couldn't get back to buy them as much as I wanted to so I took the plunge to learn the craft myself. In 2013, after experimenting and perfecting my recipes, I shared them with family and friends. They enjoyed them so I decided to turn my hobby into a business.

The Evolution of November Rae Co.

Our journey has been incredible. We've evolved from our product offering, containers and labels to our location. My first Studio and store placement was in Louisville, KY and now we are back home in Bowling Green, KY. Our latest addition is a store placement in Smith's Grove, KY. Each moment has shaped our character, and I find joy in crafting every item. It warms my heart to see the delight on faces when they experience our candles or request their favorites time and time again. I cherish the connections made at Pop Up events the conversations about the products I've lovingly created. Thank you for being a part of this journey!
